We’ve already built and validated a working MVP using raw CodeIgniter PHP + MySQL. Now we would like to migrate the system into Laravel
to support shops in Southern California.

We're looking for a skilled Laravel developer to refactor and rebuild key features using clean architecture
and Blade templating. You'll work directly with the founder, and your code will go live in real businesses.

Responsibilities:

Set up a clean Laravel project using Breeze or Jetstream

Migrate core functionality: login, queue system, dashboard, customer check-in

Reuse and refactor legacy PHP business logic into proper MVC

Use Bootstrap or Tailwind with Blade templates for UI

Integrate with an existing MySQL database (schema provided)

Deliver a deployable app for Ubuntu 20 (NGINX-based server)

Required Skills:

3+ years of experience with Laravel

Strong PHP + MySQL background

Experience using Blade + Bootstrap or Tailwind

Comfortable working with legacy PHP code

Git and basic Linux command-line proficiency

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with queue systems, job dispatching

Stripe or subscription app experience

Real-time UI updates or JS polling

Experience with multi-tenant Laravel apps

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: ~2–3 weeks (initial MVP rebuild) but potential on going work for long term contracts
